Parks & Recreation

Urbandale Parks and Recreation is dedicated to helping residents and neighbors stay fit, active, and healthy so everyone can enjoy the rich quality of life our community has to offer.

We offer adult & youth classes, a public indoor swimming pool, and a Senior Center with activities and FUN for the whole family!

NEWS

Due to the observance of increased mosquito activity and an increase in resident requests we will be scheduling fogging treatments for mosquitoes in parks and greenbelt areas beginning the week of August 8th. The treatments are contingent on favorable weather conditions, no wind or rain. Treatments will begin at dusk and last until midnight. Residents may request to not have treatments performed in their specific location by calling 331-6799 or 331-6759 and leave a message, or email Kevin James at kjames@urbandale.org.
